Increase in Employment Insurance Maximum Insurable Earnings
As of January 1, 2011, the Employment Insurance (EI) maximum yearly insurable earnings will increase from $43,200 to $44,200. As a result of this change, the maximum weekly EI benefit amount will rise from $457 to $468.
